Answer
Fire crackers spread noise pollution and air pollution to extreme levels. The smoke spread by burning crackers contains Sulphur dioxide and other poisonous chemical which pose danger to asthma patients, pregnant women, heart patient. Besides, there are numerous cases of burns and fires caused due to crackers.
Crackers may give pleasure for a short period of time but it comes at the cost of enormous amount of fear caused to birds and animals.
The chemicals used in cracker production causes serious health problems to the workers. Most of the workers are child labourers, risking their lives for inferior wages. Aren’t we fuelling child labour ?
We are concerned about Global Warming, Environment, promoting Eco-friendly & child labour free products but on the other hand we are burning crackers for our short lived happiness, Aren’t we being hypocrite?
Jainism is not against happiness but it is actually concerned about everyone’s happiness from tiny living creatures to humans.

We often say that we want to get rid of all problems in our life and we want to go to Moksh. But what is the reason of infinite happiness there? Do we get a huge mansion, luxurious vehicles, exotic food, branded clothes, etc in Moksh? The answer is “No”! There are no material things there. There is no body but only SOUL. Bodily pleasures are temporary. They end after a time duration or we get bored of them after some time or we need a change. However pleasures of SOUL are permanent. For example, we do not eat, drink ,or watch TV, Mobile during sleep, still we feel Happy in sleep. But even that happiness is temporary. Happiness in Moksh is eternal and similar to sleep. We cannot explain it in words but only feel if.
Once we go to Moksh, we do not come back to this Sansar (worldly life) we get free from the cycle of birth and death.
Note: We do not believe in avatars of Tirthankars after they reach Moksh.

There is a lot of noise in everybody’s life; be it in their professional or personal lives. The best thing to overcome this is by turning your devices to vibrating mode, turning off your WIFI and data, and just concentrating on doing the things that are required to be done on a daily basis. This will help you in unwinding and understanding yourself

Answer
There is a limitation for punishment in this world. The maximum punishment for any crime is death . If a person kills 1 man, he will be hanged until death. If a terrorist kills 100 people, still he will only get death sentence. Many dictators across the world have even killed thousands of people!! Is a single death sentence fair punishment for everyone? Shouldn’t they receive proportionate punishments for their sins?
We have to believe that there is a place called Narak (Hell) where people have to pay for their bad deeds.
